Hiring Manager:  First candidate is late for an interview. Let us see how the rest of the day will go as planned

John Adams: Hi, my name is John Adams, and I am here to do an interview for IT position.

Hiring Manager: You should have knock on the door before entering the door.

John Adams: Sorry I was running late and forgot to do it.

Hiring Manager: Yes, I was expecting you for 10am interview.

John Adams: I am late due to unexpected situation that happened this morning and forgot to let you know.

Hiring Manager: Well, let us begin the interview. Take a seat here

John Adams: Thanks

Hiring Manager: My name is Rachel Smith, hiring manager for R&S Enterprise. I will interview you today.

Do you have a resume?

John Adams: I email my resume when applied while back. Was thinking you still have it. Did not feel like bringing it then.

Hiring Manager: Tell me more about yourself as a person?

John Adams: In my resume, I mentioned everything. What else do you know more?

Hiring Manager: What are your strength and weakness?

John Adams: My strength is I am very hard worker while weakness is nothing.

Hiring Manager: Why did you apply with us?

John Adams: I was looking for a job and apply to many companies. You called and here I am.

Hiring Manager: Tell me why we should hire you?

John Adams: I need a job badly and you need someone who has IT experience.

Hiring Manager: Okay. I think that is all we needed to know about you. We will email you the results for an interview soon. Have a nice day

John Adams: Thank you for the opportunity

 

Hiring Manager:  My name is Rachel Smith, hiring manager for R&S Enterprise.

Michael Smith: Hi, my name is Michael Smith, and I am here for an interview related to an IT position.

Hiring Manager: You are early for 12pm interview. Have a seat here.

Michael Smith: I wanted to arrive early to show I am well prepared and ready.

Hiring Manager: Nice to know. Please take a seat here. Did you bring a copy of your resume?

Michael Smith: I made sure to print few copies. Here you go.

Hiring Manager: Let us begin the interview. Please tell me more about yourself.

Michael Smith: Well, my name is Michael Smith, and I moved to NY from Texas 2 years ago. I have master’s degree in computer science. I was working for an IT company for last 4 years ago and now looking for new opportunity

Hiring Manager: What will you say is your strength and weakness?

Michael Smith: My strength are I am hard worker. Additionally, I am honest who is a team player with good communicator. I thrive under pressure using my time management skills. To be efficient, I utilize my multi-task skills to get the job done. I am always looking to get better

Hiring Manager: Why did you apply with us?

Michael Smith: I believe my prior experience has prepared me for this opportunity. Your company employee growth and mission impressed me the most. I am looking for a new challenge where I can learn more and find my way to a higher position with your company.

Hiring Manager: Tell me why should we hire you?

Michael Smith: You will be getting a person who has excelled in IT position in the past. I am ready to help your company and myself achieve bigger goals together. I will show up early and leave late if needed. I am reliable who you can depend on to give you the best.  I hope it answer your question

Michael Smith: I was very eager to meet you as well and tell you more about me. I will wait for the next process. Have a nice day
